Youth Regional Youth Art Competition Results
The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center held its Regional Youth Art Competition awards ceremony and reception on Saturday, March 4th at the Lucas Mansion. Young artists were honored, celebrated, and recognized during this full-house event! Competition entries were examined by an outside, qualified judge who selected winners in each age-division category. A first place artwork and honorable mentions were selected in each division. Due to a very large pool of entries, the middle school division also had a 2nd place award. The division winners are as follows:
Young Elementary Division (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade)

The Hiddenite Center would like to thank the Friends of the Hiddenite Center for making the first place cash prizes possible. The Regional Youth Art Exhibit is full of creativity and will be on display at the Hiddenite Center’s Lucas Mansion (316 Hiddenite Church Rd, Hiddenite) until March 28, 2023. The Hiddenite Center’s art exhibits are free and open to the public from 10 am – 4:30 pm and weekdays and from 10 am – 3 pm on Saturdays.
