The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center’s Lucas Mansion Gallery will feature the art work of Alison Willard of Hickory, NC, in pursuit of her Master Thesis from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, GA. In addition to her personal and professional artistic pursuits, Willard is also a public school art teacher. The Hiddenite Arts and Heritage Center’s Summer on the Square Concert series is excited to present The Night Move Band on Saturday, June 29th! The Night Move band is composed of five accomplished musicians, each with over 25 years of experience to their names! CLASS IS FULL The Center proudly offers monthly Heritage Homeschool Classes from Sept - May! Classes take place at the Educational Complex on the last Wednesday of each month from 10am-noon. Parents remain with their children and play a special part in the learning experience. The class series keeps the family at heart; we have students from kindergarten - high school! Pottery Class: Join Sally Warren as she instructs pottery for all levels on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Center's Education Complex. Class takes place in a fully equipped pottery studio! Students of all levels enjoy creative freedom as Sally facilitates and teaches various pottery techniques. Healing with Art:

All are welcome to join this open studio class! Participants are asked to bring their own art supplies and can expect to learn to paint or hone their skills on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 at the Center's Educational Complex. This class has been designed to teach the principles of art in a positive environment that fosters creative growth and reflection.
